I just about died.

when is comes to buying books, Powels is my wife, she has everything and more i could ever ask for, she's beautiful, warm, and has that magical book smell. For those of you who've never been to the rose city, Powel's books is the largest independent used and new bookstore in the world. and I love her.

Barns and Nobles is my mistress, I get things from her I'd never ask about at Powels,

and amazon is my drug dealer, I give them my money and a brown box shows up on my porch a few days later.

but i realized something earlier today while organizing my book shelves. I own more books than I have room for!

so after giving myself a headache trying to guesstimate how much money my love for books has cost me in my 21 year life span, I've decided to use my left hand and just go to the library.

my sons birthday is tomorrow, he's turning one. I'm so sad its like his last day as a baby! I don't know how this happened, as if it wasn't bad enough that his beautiful dark hair fell out and grew back in blonde. that's right my baby is a toe head. I remember having this great idea after he was born, I was going to draw a lightning scar on his forehead, so he could have a Harry Potter themed first birthday, now in fairness I had this great idea after two days of labor and A lot of blood loss, but still what can I do now? slick his hair back and have a Draco Malfoy party? I think not. oh well at least I'll have cake. I'm very melodramatic right now,obviously.

Late at night while my baby is sleeping.

So I saw the midnight release of twilight. (No spoiler alert promise) and I just wanted to say that I loved it. I laughed so hard. It was a great movie seeing experience.

I think a lot of fans are going to dislike it or at least parts of it and their was fairly mixed reviews after it ended from the audience. And it didn't help that everyone was so excited, the entire audience laughed at all of the serious intense parts because they were serious and intense which took away from the serious intentness, if you know what I mean.

I wanted to enjoy seeing this movie and I went in with a positive attitude and I loved it. I'd like to see it again but I'm still sad it wasn't Harry Potter.

I've also only had about 3 hours of sleep so I'm sorry if this doesn't sound right.

Oh and last Kristin Stewart stole the show, I was very impressed with her. I don't know if anyone felt the same way but I thought the previews made her seem so-so at best.

Okay I never post, I always think about it and then just read other poeple's journals instead. well not today!.

tomorrow is my 21st birthday and I am taking my son to the beach for the weekend. he's nine months old and just started walking, I'm not even used to him crawling yet and he just starts walking on me! oh and he's just two inches shy of three feet tall. I can't see how he was ever inside me and I feel like any moment he's going to look at me and say "mother dear, I fear i have misplaced my pacifier, would you please locate it for me" I should note that in my head Lijah is always unfailingly polite and talks with an english accent... wishful thinking?

I still need to finish my fanfiction. I started it on whim, posted a few chapters and than decided not too post anymore until I'm completely finished with it. and I will finish it, although I got a lot more written before Lijah decided to go all mobile on me. I also think I should look for a new beta sense I sent out a chapter for her to edit in july and haven't heard back from her, I hope she's alright.

and lastly the beautiful and talented Lulabelle let me promp her for my birthday. squee. I'm so excited, I can't wait for the 2nd part, her writing is more delicious than birthday cake.
